Botanical Art Society (Singapore) (BASS) in collaboration with the Woodlands Botanical Garden will be producing a calendar for year 2026 with botanical artwork from members of the society.

This calendar will feature 'Pink & White flowering plants' found in WBG.

We are excited to announce that Singapore will be participating in the second Botanical Art Worldwide (BAW) to be held in 2025.

As part of Singapore's entry, a juried exhibition will be co-organized by Botanical Art Society (Singapore) and NParks in May 2025 at the Botanical Art Gallery, Singapore Botanic Gardens. 

We invite you to participate in this international event and have a chance to exhibit your art at the UNESCO World Heritage Site designated Singapore Botanic Gardens

Theme of BAW 2025 Singapore

The second Botanical Art Worldwide project will focus on and celebrate biodiversity in the crops that have been closely associated with the human species over thousands of years.

The main theme for BAW 2025 is ‘Crop Diversity’

The eligible subjects should fall within one of the three categories listed below:

Botanical Art Society (Singapore) (BASS) in collaboration with HortPark will be holding an exhibition of botanical art titled “Flourish: Celebrating 5 Years of Botanical Beauty” under the Arts@HortPark programme supported by National Arts Council. 

In conjunction with the 5th Anniversary of the society, this exhibition aims to celebrate the Society’s significant milestone and progress as well as the plants that inspire our members in their botanical art endeavours.

To appreciate Singapore’s push to transform into a ‘City in Nature’, the theme of this show will focus on plants growing in Singapore parks, such as reservoir parks, neighbourhood parks, HortPark, Singapore Botanic Gardens, and many others big and small
